Supporting Macmillan Cancer Support In The World's Biggest Coffee Morning
Churchill Retirement Living is proud to announce that Macmillan Cancer Support will be the charity they are supporting over the next
year.
Their fundraising begins immediately with The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning where they have pledged to donate £5 for every visitor to one of their sites during September and to those attending coffee mornings which they are holding on all their developments between 17th and 30th September. Details and terms and conditions of this promotion can be found on their website www.churchillretirement.co.uk or by calling free on 0800 458 1857.
Churchill Retirement Living is encouraging as many retirees (over 60) as possible to visit their sites and help make this event a success. The coffee mornings are being held in their beautifully furnished Owners’ Lounges and you will have the opportunity to view the elegantly designed one and two bedroom show apartments and landscaped grounds whilst visiting.
Spencer McCarthy, Chairman and Group Managing Director for Churchill Retirement Living, said "Macmillan Cancer Support is an extremely worthy charity. Cancer affects so many of us with 1 in 3 suffering from this disease at some point in our lives. We are proud to be supporting this charity and will do everything we can to raise much needed funds. To show my personal support I have agreed to take part in the Great South Run in October.”
Katie Blake, Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support said "We are here to improve the lives of anyone affected by cancer – people who have cancer, their carers, families and friends. Because more and more people are living with cancer every day, our work is needed more than ever. That’s why we need people like Churchill Retirement Living to support us and we are extremely grateful for their pro-active approach to their fundraising campaign!”
